The post-80s novels referred to novels born in the 1980s that had distinct characteristics of the times and personality. The following are some of the more interesting novels of the 1980s: 1 Alive-Yu Hua: This is a classic Chinese novel about the life experience and fate of an ordinary farmer, which profoundly reflects the class struggle and changes in the history of Chinese society. 2 " Three-Body "-Liu Cixin: This is a science fiction novel, known as one of the representative works of Chinese science fiction literature. It tells the conflict and confrontation between mankind and alien civilizations, and has a high intellectual and literary value. 3 Ordinary World-Lu Yao: This is a novel that reflects the life of rural China and the differences between urban and rural areas. Through the growth of a boy, it shows the vicissitudes and changes of rural China. 4 " Snow Country "-Kawabata Yasunari: This is a beautiful Japanese novel that tells the story of a little girl growing up in a closed world. Through the description of nature and people, it shows the unique charm of Japanese culture. 5 One Hundred Years of Solitude-Garcia Marquez: This is a magical realism novel that tells the story of a family of seven generations and reflects the changes in the history and culture of Latin-America. The above are some of the novels I think are good. They not only have literary value, but also reflect the characteristics and appearance of the era and society.

The Good Teacher

This is NOT a hot-blooded, high-octane novel filled with conflicts and fights around every corner. If that is the kind of story you are looking for, unfortunately, you will not find it here (at least not in the early chapters). The MC is a modern man, with modern sensibilities. Conflicts are handled civilly, or avoided altogether. There will be fights, but the story does not revolve around it. The MC is mature, and handles relationships tactfully. There will be a slow-burn romance in this story, and ABSOLUTELY NO HAREM. I despise that genre from the bottom of my heart! I also have some LGBTQ+ elements planned for the future (with side characters). English not first language. Writing mistake? Please forgive. Proofread many times before upload, problems not much. If issue, then point out mistake, I correct immediate. I am thank you for you're understanding :) ALSO: I started writing this story with one intention in mind, and that was to act as a parody of existing novels with similar themes. However, around CH25, I realised that my work was becoming too derivative and boring. So I pivoted and decided to make my novel its own thing. I believe that my work has become better because of it.
