The two great legends of the early Qing Dynasty were "Dream of the Red Chamber" and "Water Margins". Dream of the Red Chamber and Water Margins respectively depicted the relationship between men and women in the feudal society of the Qing Dynasty and reflected the complexity and contradiction of human nature. The Three Masters of Lingnan referred to the Qing Dynasty novelists Zheng Xie, Zheng Banqiao, and Xie. The Four Great Condemnation Fictions referred to the four novels produced in the Qing Dynasty: The Scholars, The Story of officialdom, Dream of the Red Chamber, and Journey to the West. They were known as the representative works of the four aspects of Chinese classical novels, reflecting the characteristics and contradictions of the Qing Dynasty's politics, economy, and culture. New Redology is a new school of Chinese literature research. It originated in the late 1980s and studied the creation, reading, acceptance, and evaluation of the classic works of Chinese literature since the new century. It involved novels, poems, essays, plays, and many other fields. Zhu Chen referred to the Ming Dynasty writer Zhu Lian and his son Chen Jiru. They were two of the "Three Zhus and One Chen" and were also famous writers and cultural figures in the history of Chinese literature. Zhu Lian and his son Chen Jiru's works were mainly novels and prose. Their works focused on expressing the kindness and justice of human nature, emphasizing the inheritance of culture and the construction of the human spirit.
