What could be the beginning of the story? Who were the important people?

J. Robert Oppenheimer himself was extremely important. Also, General Leslie Groves played a significant role as he was in charge of the military aspect of the Manhattan Project. Enrico Fermi was another important scientist who worked with Oppenheimer on the project.

Well, in the Cleopatra story, clearly Cleopatra is central. But Julius Caesar was crucial too. He entered Egypt and got involved with Cleopatra, which changed the power dynamics in the region. Then there's Mark Antony. He fell in love with Cleopatra and together they tried to oppose Octavian. Octavian, although more of an antagonist in their story, was also an important figure as he was the one who ultimately defeated them and changed the course of history for Egypt.

There were many other scientists and engineers in the real Oppenheimer story. People like Enrico Fermi, who was a great physicist and contributed to the scientific knowledge and work within the project. Their combined efforts, along with Oppenheimer's leadership, made the Manhattan Project possible.

Mary and Joseph were very important. Mary was the mother of Jesus, chosen by God. Joseph was Mary's betrothed, who took on the role of Jesus' earthly father. Also, the shepherds were important as they were the first to receive the news of Jesus' birth from the angels and then went to worship the baby.

Obviously Buddy Holly himself was the most important. His bandmates also played important roles. For example, they contributed to the sound that made Buddy Holly's music so great.

In the Titanic real story, one important person was Captain Smith. He had a reputation as a skilled seaman. But during this voyage, his decisions may have been influenced by overconfidence in the ship's safety. Then there was Thomas Andrews, the ship's builder. He was on board and realized quickly how serious the damage was after the iceberg hit. He knew the ship was going to sink. There were also the wireless operators like Jack Phillips and Harold Bride. They sent out distress signals which eventually led to some rescue efforts, though not enough to save everyone on the Titanic.

Pat Garrett was really important. He was the lawman who finally caught Billy the Kid. There were also the ranchers that Billy and his gang were stealing from. They were the ones who pushed for the law to go after him.
