that have literal lake water on the other side.

Ethan quickly opened his window, letting the smoke and steam out as his sweating intensified. Ethan looked down at his palm, which had been burnt, and grabbed his wand with his left hand as he used whatever was left of his magic to ease his pain.

or the flying wind sail from Treasure Planet. that thing was and is still the coolest flying tech I have ever seen.

Nah, I'm good. I like flying and plan on figuring out wandless flight like Voldy, but the sport just doesn't do it for me. And why is it just brooms? You know what, I'm going to make a shield like Captain America's and put charms on it so I can fly like the Silver Surfer and static shock. Or maybe enchant a sword to fly around like a cultivation novel young master.

was always a fan of flying longboards. Smaller than a surfboard, but longer than a skateboard. kind of like the new skimmers from D2, but more magic instead of tech. you could also have the Mc start developing magi-tech...or hex-tech(?) if you wanted to keep a more techy theme.

they are in the dungeons and under the lake, though... would they have windows?

in the trio, willpower typically comes from the mind, "A disciplined mind breeds a disciplined will, Yada Yada..." and emotions are described as coming from the spirit or soul...? something felt on a deeper level than just mind, or something. I'm just trying to get some clarification because I thought soul and spirit were interchangeable terms for the same thing. This is not meant to be a dig at the author in any way, I am just dumb.

Willpower was a very important component of magic, and could even be said to be at its core, but before the age of 11 it was very hard to manipulate magic through sheer willpower because of its nature. Ethan remembered reading that will was born from the spirit, while emotions were born from the soul. One was grounded, while the other was fleeting, explaining why it was easier to perform a certain kind of magic at different ages.

so, in this case, is the spirit a different part of the soul, or vise-verse? I've heard of the mind-body-spirit trio before, but not soul and spirit, which I originally thought meant the same thing...

unspeakably horrendous? all-consumingly dreadful? immutably archaic? Does anyone have anything else to describe something that's indescribably bad? asking for a friend.

He had started out as early as within his mother's belly, and got the 'luck' to experience his own birth. That was a terrifying experience he did not want to think of ever again, it wasn't just painful, it was… indescribably dreadful.

Danzo.

[A/N: Still find it weird that both Jinchurikis were treated differently with one of them being a former Hokage's son but lemme stop my rant.]

some of the oldies may be aware that something has changed... a certain progenitor of vampires and a master of mirrors come to mind...

"This is Chakra..." Madara murmured to himself, his voice low, almost in reverence. He knew, through the stories he had heard and the memories that were beginning to form in his mind, that Chakra was the source of power for a myriad of incredible abilities. It was a force that, in his original world, only existed in legends and tales, but here, in this new world, it had become a tangible and powerful reality, exclusively his to command and explore. He was unique in this world, an anomaly in this plane that no ancient and powerful being, or even a god, could have foreseen his existence.

how is he speaking English? I guess I will chalk it up to magic, but I feel the question should still be asked. 1000 years ago, old English (something very different than modern English, like enough to be considered 2 separate languages) is what would have been predominantly spoken.

This made Sebastian a little perplexed, "That… is a good question." He mused, "If you consider the time I stayed frozen, I am over a thousand years old." He looked at the gray haired wizard, "But if you are to look past that, I am… eleven."

where there is one... the other shall also be. unless the author decided not to, in which case, never mind.

The river's inhabitants, the jumping fish, observed in silent reverence as Xerneas gazed upon his own reflection. In that moment, a single word surfaced in his mind, "Pokémon?... Xerneas!" He endeavored to etch every detail of the majestic creature into his memory, seeking to understand the truth of what he had become.
