It was the same with his mannerisms and movements, too. I found myself moving more gracefully and with more coordination in this body than I had been previously. I had no such prejudice since I came from an outside perspective, but the vast majority of Elves looked down upon the other races. Even the milder Elves, like the members of my family, still found any non-elf distasteful to be around. I found the practice inane but found no reason to comment on it since I would be met with disagreement, and I didn't really care to change anyone's mind. I planned to leave the forest in a few years anyway.

Yea but it felt that it could be complete after the first volume but this chapter basically went against you built in this novel, saying he didn't belong there despite how many connections he made there. But other than that it was cool to see an mlp novel. If you ever plan on rewriting here is my advice. Spend less time on the characters describing how they feel and let it flow organically. The book felt very summarized and rushed, take time to go over important events and time skips unimportant ones I don't mind the romance but it would have been more interesting imo if it played out longer You can try to spend more time describing the magic system and add your own touch and how it could work. I do like the character development of the MC and a few self reflective moments he has. Referencing to the previous point of how all characters describe their feelings it all feels artificial and repeated, did you use AI to help you write this? Instead try to convey emotions with more subtle dialogue and some introspection for key moments, maybe a pov change to switch things up? I haven't seen mlp in a very long time with my sister so I was pretty surprised to see a fic here, I hope you don't give up and try rewriting! Btw if you have lack of creativity issues you can consider switching the direction of the storyline where the mc focuses mostly on magical research and only intervenes in key moments and sprinkle in some slice of life. You can read various magic based novels and come up with a system that matches the MLP background, with this there is a lot of inspiration to go off of. Good luck 👍
