Calhoun sighed, "Where did you get the idea about that?" He was seriously asking her the question when he had brought her to a place where he killed people! "I told you...I have other things I would love to do to you but killing you is not on the list right now."

One side of Calhoun's lips pulled up, "It is good to hear that you want to like me," and while Madeline had her face turned away, he pulled out the piece of paper from his pocket that he had tricked her into believing that he had thrown it out of the window.

"We could have discarded both the options then," he responded to her, and she wondered if he would do it, to hear him say, "There are things that don't need a couch or the bed. You will learn it soon," his lips twitched at the end, and Madeline continued to stare at him by being wary of him.
