I’m just imagining how amazing it would be if at the very end, right before the fic closes, Nicholas has a one on one with the last big bad, and reveals that he’s indeed known everything and acted a fool the entire time. “You see, in doing so I turned what could’ve been a serious or dangerous story into a comedy, a gag story cemementing my power. All along I’ve played this role to influence the very story itself in the direction I Wanted.”
