Chapter 17: Farfetch'd vs Garchomp? (Crossed out) Zoro vs Mihawk!
Cynthia sent out Garchomp and she roared on the field.
Ace stood on the opposite side with his arms crossed, "Farfetch'd, you're up first." Farfetch'd walked out, biting on a leek while holding two on his hands.
Rowan said in surprise, "What is that Farfetch'd doing?" Magnolia hesitated, "It's a Galarian Farfetch'd, right?" Oak nodded, "That's right. I found him in Viridian forest… Poachers."
The Professors shook their heads at the information.
Oak added with a head scratch, "Though… Three Leeks? I've never heard of it."
Elesa raised her arm, "The battle consists of a 6v1. Champion Cynthia can only send Garchomp, while Ace can use all 6. The Battle ends when one side has no more Pokemon to use! Switching out is not allowed for the Challenger. Begin!"
Ace stood there and observed Cynthia, who crossed her arms, "Dragon claw." Ace said instantly, "Double Team and Agility." Garchomp appeared in front of the Farfetch'd and slashed down with her claw but passed through Fareftch'd, who turned into multiple clones, getting faster and faster!
Ace continued, "Keep using Agility for now." Cynthia tilted her head, "Earthquake!" Ace said "Fly up!" Fatfetch'd flew into the air and Cynthia smirked, "Dragon Rush!" Ace's eyes narrowed as Garchomp burst off the ground, shooting into the sky instantly!
Ace said slowly, "Substitute!" Farfetch'd turned into a doll and Garchomp smashed through it while the real Farfetch'd fell from the sky. Farfetch'd looked at Ace and quacked, Ace frowned, "Are you sure?"
Farfetch'd landed on the ground and nodded, "Far!" Ace sighed and waved, "Alright! Let's go head on, Farfetch'd!" Cynthia looked at Ace, commenting, "Not running anymore?"
Ace spread his hands and smiled, "There's no way, Garchomp is too strong. Now, we'll show you his power. Farfetch'd, Brutal Swing Onigiri!" Farfetch'd crossed his leeks, shooting towards Garchomp with a dark aura around the Leeks.
The slashes came quickly and Ace could see the crits popping up, Cynthia shouted, "Fight back with Dragon Claw!" Ace shouted, "Jump back and use Night Slash Tiger Hunt!" Farfetch'd flashed backwards and Ace added quickly, "Shave!"
Farfetch'd flickered and appeared in front of Garchomp instantly, slashing quickly! Garchomp stepped back and roared, slashing a Dragon Claw down. Ace shouted "Above!" Farfetch'd tilted his head and clashed his leek with the claw…
Garchomp crushed the leek and slammed Farfetch'd into the ground.
Ace sighed and took out a Pokeball, "You did your best, Farfetch'd…" Cynthia was already surprised, naturally she could tell the difference between pokemon! This Farfetch'd was really incredible!
Just as Ace was about to take Farfetch'd back, he quacked weakly. Ace paused and looked at Farfetch'd in surprise! This guy held on!
Farfetch'd stood up shakily, holding his leeks, "FAR!" before erupting into light!
Ace was stunned, "Evolved!?" Cynthia watched with surprise, nodding in satisfaction.
Farfetch'd grew and changed into a pure white form!
The light exploded off him and revealed his complete figure!
One eye with a scar over it and three new leeks!
Magnolia raised her brows, "Three swords?" she turned to Rowan, "Can Pokemon change their evolutionary line?" Rowan rubbed his chin in thought, looking at the Sirfetch'd with 3 sword leeks instead of a sword and shield, "Well, it's possible. Not very likely however…"
Sirfetch'd waved his swords, making sword shadows. He turned to Ace and nodded, "Sir." Ace smirked and nodded, "Come on, let's show off your new power!" Sirfetch'd turned back and quacked, "Sirfetch'd!"
Garchomp growled back and Cynthia touched her lips, "Come on, Garchomp! Full Power Dragon Rush!" Ace shouted, "Sirfetch'd! Three Thousand Worlds Final Gambit!" Cynthia was shocked, "Final Gambit?!"
Surfetch'd spun the leeks in a windmill with his new dexterous wings as he flashed towards Garchomp!
They crossed and Ace saw everything go black with a flash of lightning in the middle before everything returned to normal.
Sirfetch'd stood behind Garchomp with his leeks out. He quacked and fell to one knee, putting his leeks away. Garchomp turned around and Sirfetch'd turned, opening his wings.
Ace's eyes twitched…
Garchomp: ???
Sirfetch'd: A wound on the back is a swordsman's shame!
Cynthia was confused but said, "Well, Slash!" Garchomp slashed down and Sirfetch'd flew out a few feet, landing on his back, fainted.
Ace shook his head and laughed, Sirfetch'd raised a leek and Ace quickly took him back.
