Chapter 70: [68] My Junior is just to cute!
-3rd POV-
"Fou, wait for a bit" Mash pleaded to the running animal.
This wasn't the first time this has happened before, usually Fou would run off and she would just follow.
After running for a bit, Fou seems to stop in his tracks-Mash tiredly panted as she was able to catch her breath.
"Fou, please don't run so fast"
"Fou~" the creature ignored her words as it began to poke the human body on the floor.
...wait, human body?
He was a boy with long blond hair, wearing a nice set of clothes while sleeping on the floor.
Mash, well, being Mash began to worry for the random person on the floor.
"Fou~"Fou began to tap the boy on the face, trying to wake him up but it was to no avail.
Feeling frustrated, Fou turned Mash.
"Fou~ Fous~" Mash couldn't understand him but she knew that it needed her help.
Kneeling down on the floor, she began to gently wake up the boy.
"Wake up, Senpai" after a few tugs he woke up.
"Hm~ who are you?" Asked the boy, still sleepy.
"That's a hard question to answer suddenly. Maybe I'm not important enough for you to know my name" Mash said in a deprecating matter.
"Aww, come on tell me~" The boy gave her a smile, it was as if the world had suddenly brightened by half.
Stunned by the visual and the sudden kindness, Mash stood there stunned.
"Hm? Earth to pretty lady~" he waved his hands Infront of her but she didn't come out of her daze.
'Geez what's up with people and being stunned so easily?' tought the boy, the memory of a certain stunned white haired girl popped up into his mind.
With no choice he raised his hand, placing it on her head.
He began to slowly ruffle her hair.
Mash who'se stunned state was canceled out by the head pat, began to blush profusely.
She didn't know why but one thing was for certain, it was warm.
Mash closed her eyes as she enjoyed the foreign but warm feeling on her head.
After a few seconds, the boy spoke "Fufu~ my kouhai is to cute~" the boy said In a teasing tone.
"E-Eh?!" A blush came to her face as she realized what just happened.
"Hahaha" the boy began to laugh
"I-I w-well" Mash wanted to defend herslef, but she did like it and her bad social skills didn't allow her to speak up
The boy stoped laughing, a gentle smile dawned on his face once again.
Standing up on his feet he spoke "There's no such thing as an 'Unimportant Person', so never say such a thing alright?"
"Um, yes?" Mash's mind was confused, all the sudden kindness and warm head pats cuased her brain circuits to fry.
"Umu, good. My name is Otto Apocalypse by the way, you can just call me Otto or Senapai if you want~" Otto held out his hand to her, obviously to help her get up from the floor.

-Mash POV-
I dont know why but senpai is really kind me.
Despite me being completely insignificant, he showed me unconditional kindness despite knowing me for only a few seconds, something that I never experienced besides Dr. Romani.
That smile, that warmth.
I-I want to feel it again, that kindness.
I know I don't deserve it, especially for someone like me but...even if it's juts a little, even if it's for a fraction of a second.
As I saw him stretching out his hand to me I could feel my heart beating like a drum, but it began to calm down quickly.
I don't know why but that gentle smile he wears on his face melted my worries away like ice.
Yes
I'll take that chance.
Even if it's nothing but a dream.
Even if it's for just a second.
I took his hand.
"N-Nice to meet you Senpai, my name...my name is Mash, Mash Kreylight" I mustered up all the courage is had, telling him the name Dr. Romani had gifted me.
"That's a beautiful name, Mash"
Ah, that warmth.

-Otto POV-
As mash introduced herslef, I gently lifted her up. Mash from the beginning of FGO had always been a rather, depressing character.
Believing that she didn't deserve kindness, and the way that other people treated her didn't help at all.
Some of the people that contributed to that were probably Olga and Beryl Gut.
Olga was scared of her, fearing that Mash might take revenge on her and kill her.
Mash was a homunculus that was part of an inhuman experiment performed and funded by her father.
Mash, being the only survivors of it, Olaga was afraid she might kill her so she avoided her at all cost.
And now there Beryl Guy, fucking psychopath. A crazy assassin that enjoys killing and was later recruited as a master here in Chaldea by Olga's Father.
I'm crazy, I'll admit that. But to break Mash's fingers just for kick's and giggles is something that pisses me off to my core.
Nobody hurts my Mashmallow.
...yes I am biased. Mash is juts to kind and adorable and she was my fav from all the FGO characters back in my first life.
In conclusion, I'm killing him later when I have a chance, I am a servant here yes but I can't just go killing master her and there.
Maybe I just won't save him when Lev blows up the place.
"Fou~ Fous Fou~" I suddenly felt a tug on my pants, Fou seemed to want to take us to someone.
Obviously it was Ritsuka as he was sleeping just down the hall.
Of course this whole thing was planned by your's truly, I purposely made myself go to sleep on their path towards Ritsuka so that I would meet Mash first.
Fufu I'm the original senpai now~
"Fou want's us to follow him" said Mash, a slight blush was still coloring her face.
"Is that so? Then we better hurry up" I quickly grabbed her hand, gently dragging her as I followed Fou.
Fufu I can feel her heart beating from just holding her hand.
My junior is to cute~

A/N: I know that some of you guys will say that Mash trusted Otto to fast but Mash really Is juts like that
The reason why she got along with Ritsuka Fujimaru in the first place was becuase she felt no threat from him.
Mash is also deprived from kindness, the only people that were ever nice to her mere Romani, Da Vinci, and Fujimaru.
Thus the sudden show of kindness was something that she was desperately wanting, but her self worth was really low so she always denied it when people were kind to her.
Infact, Hinako Akita whose in team-A tried to genuenly make friends with Mash but her low self esteem made it hard to make friends with her.
Also, Mash is best girl, protect at all cost.
