Chapter 41: A Line of Adorable Stuffed Crochet Toys

"Oh... haha. I was mistaken."

Leslie chuckled in helplessness, laughing at her momentary silliness. Her eyes remained looking at the stuffed crochet fox toy.

On a closer look, this fox toy was not Mimo. The latter had very little signs of worn-out for being the toy Calliope loved hugging the most.

Aside from looking to be well taken care of, the red thread forming the fox toy was in a lighter shade of red. Its design was also slightly different than Mimo's.

'Mimo, can you hear me?'

Leslie tried calling Mimo telepathically. This was her first time doing so after leaving Graceville Manor yesterday evening. She hadn't contacted Mimo at all until now.

Mimo's childlike voice sounded so excited as it instantly replied.

A sense of remorse pricked Leslie's heart, wondering if a toy like Mimo felt lonely. She was too caught up in various matters until she forgot to call it.
