Chapter 52: War
During the night, Kant was working in his office, signing some paperwork. Suddenly the office door opened, and he raised his head to see what was happening. A man with black hair and red eyes entered the office, and Kant was surprised by this unexpected appearance. He decided to respond to such a presence with professional courtesy - despite his internal discomfort.
"I have heard very, very, very, very good things about you. I thought you were in the dwarven realm, so what are you doing at this end of the world?" Kant muttered sarcastically as he pointed his finger at the man.
"Good to see you again, immanuel kant." The man spoke as he sat down in the chair opposite Kant.
"Look at you... You're a failure, aren't you? Raphael. So tell me, what do you want from this humble man?" kant began to smooth his beard, as if eager to find out the reason for Raphael's sudden visit.
"So, shall we jump right to business? Okay... I want to know if you have seen a man named Jacob Voss. Have you seen him?" Raphael spoke coldly to Kant as if giving him a command.
"You know what kills me? It's thinking that people know everything." Answered Kant, and then immediately spoke again, "I feel blessed. I have the privilege and the gift of knowing everything in this world, and I know what you want with this man."
"If you know that, then you know where this man is, don't you?"
"Friend, you cannot go after this man. So when you leave, close the door, please." Kant finished speaking and went back to signing the paperwork on the table. He was ignoring the presence and Raphael's piercing gaze beneath him.
Suddenly, Raphael pulled a cigarette from his pocket, and spoke as he ascended it, "I will kill Jacob Voss, Kant."
"You're going to kill Jacob Voss?"
Raphael inhaled the cigarette smoke deeply, and as he slowly puffed it out, he uttered with determination, "I will kill him." His professional posture and tone of voice made it clear to everyone that they should take his warning seriously.
Raphael had no intention of killing Jacob, but Jacob crossed the line when he killed Erick. He believed that his desires and demands were more important than anyone else, without caring about the consequences of his actions for other people. With this, Raphael was forced to take measures to ensure safety not only for himself but also for others.
Kant began to smooth his beard, wondering if he should help him, but upon remembering that the demon king was "Allied" with Jacob Voss, kant immediately chose his side. "Friend, you cannot go after this man, he has powerful allies."
"And you are his ally?"
"Allied? No... I'm neutral, I'd rather not get into that bad business fight."
"If you give me his location, I'll give you 1kg in mana diamonds, how about it?"
Raphael was determined to find Jacob, so he decided it would be worth it to be willing to do some negotiating with Kant to get that information. He knew that this plan could be risky, but he needed to act quickly. If Kant accepted the deal, then they might finally have a chance to find Jacob.
Kant reflected on his decision as he smoothed his beard. He was considering negotiating with Raphael, as he believed he would have greater reach if the two of them worked together. Despite the differences between them, he had the perception that there was common ground for a successful negotiation. He hoped that Raphael would have an open eye for reaching a solution that would work for all parties involved.
"Okay! If you want this man's location, I want you to give me 5kg of mana diamond! And I want more than 5kg because he has a powerful ally who might come after me. And I want another 5kg because Jacob and I made an agreement a short time ago and I hate to betray my clients."
Raphael meticulously analyzed Kant's demands and, despite his disdain for them, understood that it was the right decision. Although it was against his better judgment, he decided, in the end, to give in and agree to the proposal. Mentally, he uttered a curse towards Kant, calling him "this piece of shit"; however, intellect overcame the impetus and he opted for a response commensurate with the solution given.
"All right, I'll accept your demands. Where is Jacob?"

The villagers celebrated the return of Jacob, their new leader. The joy was contagious, for they all felt that with his return, life had meaning again. Jacob brought hope and new perspectives to this large village.
The joy was evident when the village held a huge festival to celebrate Jacob's return. The celebration had everything from a traditional parade that went around the village, to musical performances, food displays, and traditional games. As part of the celebration, extreme rejoicing was displayed. The feeling of joy was spread with Jacob's arrival, and everyone knew that his return had marked another beginning!
Jacob was sitting on his throne, watching the entire festival. The day he and Grace shared a wonderful kiss was the only thing that filled his mind. He thought tenderly of her lips, her eyes of a deep shade of blue, and her delicate smile.
He smiled with joy as he saw his beloved grace there helping the women prepare the delicacies for the evening. He could tell she was enjoying every moment spent with them, for her smile was infectious, seeming as if no challenge would be too great for her. He couldn't help but admire her selflessness and her spirit of service. He loved to see her so happy.
Suddenly, the two of them met eye to eye. The sparkle in her eyes was contagious and the expression on her face was one of pure joy. Grace walked randomly towards Jacob, her eyes never straying from his. She was smiling sweetly and indulging in love so that they could enjoy this precious moment together.
"Are you enjoying the party?" Grace asked smiling. "Yes, thank you for doing this last minute."
Grace smiled even more as she heard those sweet words from Jacob. She sat on his lap and leaned her head against his chest, feeling safe and loved. Wrapping herself in his protective aura, Grace felt that that moment was the beginning of something hermoso, full of love and happiness.
"Are you okay?" she murmured as she played with his shirt.
Jacob smiled at her when she asked him how he was doing, and responded by saying that everything was fine. He looked into hers, kissed her forehead fondly, and said "I have a present to give you." She began to smile too, happy at such a loving gesture on Jacob's part.
"What gift?" She asked curiously.
Suddenly, Jacob pulled out of his pocket a small, shiny, precious reliquary with an affectionate smile. He delicately handed it to Grace, telling her it was for her.
Grace was amazed by the gift, and even more so by Jacob's caring gesture. She opened the reliquary to reveal a delicate necklace shining with a small gemstone;
"This necklace has spells and incantations that will help you. Wear it wisely." Jacob said to her.
Grace was smiling from ear to ear as she received this loving gift from Jacob. She looked into his eyes and kissed his face affectionately showing her love and gratitude and said, "Honey, thank you for giving me this gift, it has made me immensely happy."
Jacob was pleased with her happiness and was about to reply, but Angela came up, with a serious expression on her face, saying, "we are in trouble." He was able to notice the concern in her tone of voice and quickly assessed the seriousness of the situation. Although he didn't know the details, he knew that they would have to find an intelligent solution to the issue.
