Chapter 26: Expedition
Before the day starts a large group of adventurers from Loki, Hephaestus, and Goibniu Familia is forming in the central plaza near the tower of Babel.
They are going for an expedition after preparing for a month, with the Loki Familia spearheading the diving into the deeper dungeon, both the Hephaestus and Goibniu Familia are there to support them while training their weaker members.
Finn Deimne is a Level 6 captain of the Loki Familia and the overall commander of this expedition.
Finn has medium-length scruffy blonde hair and blue eyes with a fair skin tone. He is over 42 years old despite his small and child-like body, a common appearance of the Pallum race.
He is still organizing the expedition members when a party of 7 members with the Goibniu Familia emblem entered the area.
"Is that the protégé of god Goibnui?"
Riveria Ljos Alf a level 6 executive of their Familia asked beside him, she has jade-colored hair tied in a tail that reaches to her waist, same color eyes, and Elf ears.
As an elf, she is described to be exceptionally beautiful, stated to be more beautiful than a number of Goddesses.
"Yes, it would seem, except for her umbrella I heard she had a beauty that surpasses even yours Riveria."
With a playful smile, Gareth Landrock replied to Riveria.
Gareth has brown eyes and long brown hair along with facial hair of the same color that is long enough to form a beard. He wears a battle cloth and boots, adding a horned helmet and armor onto it when he ventures into the dungeon.
"She is quite beautiful indeed however I heard that she is overly obsessed with perfection that it takes her 5 years just to have an all S in her status."
Riveria didn't mind Gareth teasing as she knows how playful he is.
"An all S? Isn't that kinda far-fetched, even if it's true I doubt that she can even level up to level 3."
"No, Loki-sama told us that she is indeed quite talented as she also received Blacksmith and Mystery Development Ability just this week, so keep an eye on them to give support if necessary."
Their goddess Loki tasked them to observe and keep them safe, but only when needed as they were supposed to join them at vanguard to give extra support for their own Familia."
"I see, but who are the rest with her? I never heard the Goibnui Familia had a capable fighter like them."
Riveria points out the 6 people that are closely following David, she knows that they are quite strong with the presence that they're excluding.
While David looks like perfectly crafted by their own god himself, the rest are battle-hardened warriors, on both of her flanks are two sword-wielding samurai that closely resemble each other as they look like brothers, but there's an awkward atmosphere between them.
Behind them are two quite attractive women, well one is kinda crazed looking with her playing with her blue hair while pointing everywhere and beside her is a golden-haired woman with a shining staff in her hand while giggling at her companion's behavior.
At the end is a serious-looking Spearman with a long ponytail, Finn can help but stare at him while Gareth is looking at a large man with a larger shield, his most striking appearance besides his build is his magnificent mustache.
"What an aura, I can't help but commend the young David's leadership to command the rest of them,"
They know that they're all at level two, but she still headed them with confidence and a smile while walking towards them.

While walking towards the executive of Loki Familia to introduce ourselves, I cannot help but glance at my clones that utilize the Invoker skill with Correxion.
All of them are at Limit Off but with the perfection of Correxion, there's no disturbance of mana in the surroundings or bells echoing, that's why he can fully summon the help of the heroes without repercussions.
While their ego is here, similar to the game his clones can control them with ease, the only problem would be the small pool of their mind as it is divided to 7 including him.
(This is similar to the use and restrictions of Kage Bunshin no Jutsu in the anime Naruto)
Thankfully the Tears of the Goddess help to minimize his burden as they also passively increase and augment his mind.
"Good morning everyone, forgive me for my intrusion. My name is David from Goibniu Familia and these are the few of our members that our god tasked to help at security measurement."
I smiled at them when I noticed their subtle warm greetings, it seems our god and Hephaestus already talked with goddess Loki about our circumstances regarding the expedition.
As this expedition's main purpose is to explore new parts of the dungeon, only the Loki Familia would delve deeper than the floor 18 and the Hephaestus Familia and their own would only stay at the Under Resort to level up our own members.
"It is fine don't worry about it, it is a pleasure to finally meet the protégé of god Goibnui, I heard many things about you mainly from your beauty."
Finn smiled easing the tense young woman in front of him, she is so formal that it may affect their cooperation.
David can't help but redden in shame, he knows that he once said that appearance is nothing to him but hearing someone compliment his looks is still low for him.
Finn can't help but stare at how ridiculous her beauty is even Riveria looks away and Gareth is laughing at her reaction.
"Cough* I am sorry about my appearance as it is one of the few things I can't change and shame of, anyway I hope we can be of use, and please guide us as we are still new at this.
"Yes of course, anyway as you may know I am Finn Deimne the commander of this expedition, this is Riveria Ljos Alf also known as Nine Hell and this is Gareth Landrock, if you have any worries or questions you can come and ask me or them personally."
David bowed in acknowledgment and return to their own Familia members after saying goodbye.
"It seems Ain's and vanguard group already cleared the upper floors of the dungeon."
Riveria looks at the rising sun on the horizon, she can't help but glance at the retreating back of the young woman she talked with earlier.
'I can feel something familiar with her'
Finn glances at Riveria and noticed her peculiar behavior earlier, he looks at Gareth and only shrugs his shoulder.
As it was time to begin their descent he commanded the official start of the expedition.
"Move out!"
