Chapter 436: Profitable Misfortune

Following Allan and Altair's departure, the suite grew quiet, or assumedly so. Two distinct noises could be heard deep in the background, acting as an interchangeable ambiance of varying cadence.

The thundering and drawn-out snores of Bastion and Nemean, who were given the rooms furthest from the living room for this reason. 

Minutes after the snoring continued with inexhaustible vim, Alice began to furrow her brows. 

"How can anyone sleep in this environment? Those two are like hibernating bears with monstrous lungs. They're just so loud!"

Kieran was amused by it all. He agreed they were loud and belligerent, but this time, he didn't place much blame on them. Holding back Daedric, that titan of a man, was exhausting, more tiring than any workout they had endured.

That was simply how much raw power and momentum Daedric generated.
