Chapter 77: False Sentiments

"I want all my belongings you confiscated back."

Hearing my words, Marvel didn't react for a while. I frowned, studying his expression, hesitant whether or not I should repeat in case he didn't hear me, but I canceled my intention to do that when I saw him laughing.

"You can request any information you need to know for revenge, and you want that trash?"

Marvel scoffed in front of my face - to be honest, I kind of expected such a response from him - but I didn't waver. Seeing my determination, he erased the sneer from his face.

"Sit and wait here," Marvel smiled at me before walking out of the bedroom.

Without thinking too much, I exhaled deeply and went off to flump into the couch in front of the fireplace for warmth, waiting for him.
