Chapter 27: Bonney's adventure I

While Zeus was closing his eyes and bearing with Maria's increasingly strange requests, Bonney was in a completely different place.

Currently

Bonney had her hands tied to a post and Blackbeard was standing in front of her laughing. Bonney grit her teeth and glared at him, with even more hatred than before. Blackbeard, or Teach, said "I'll give an out. Become my woman and I'll let you go."

Bonney spit in his face and said "In your fucking dreams creep!" Teach sneered and said "Frankly you don't have a choice, either you agree or I do it anyway!" as he slowly walked towards her, Bonney panicked and started kicking her legs wildly, hitting Teach in the stomach and knocking him back.

Bonney looked like a frightened rabbit and Teach said angrily "You bitch!" he lifted his hand and darkness swirled in his palm along with white cracking lines, when he heard a horn. He looked over and saw the giant marine ship and clicked his tongue. He looked back at Bonney and said "You got lucky this time. Too bad you won't have another chance! Zehahahahaha"

Bonney glared at him and kept silent, she looked at the marine ship silently and a figure crossed her mind. Teach and his crew left the island and a man walked over and stopped in front of Bonney, his right shoulder had a huge bite mark and a big scar going from his neck to his chest and arm, his skin looked cracked and melted together.

Bonney glared at him and wanted nothing more than to rip his head off. That's right, the man was Akainu. The one who defeated Zeus and sent him to Mariejoie, not many people knew about this, but it was in fact Akainu, who leaked information about Zeus to the Nobles. He hated Zeus and Dragon with every fiber of his being and if Luffy didn't escape he would have no problem torturing him for life. Akainu was a very twisted man.

Akainu looked at Bonney and said "Oh? The government has been looking for you for a very long time. Let's go." He grabbed her chains and dragged her along back to the marine ship, one of the marines said "What about the crew sir?" Akainu didn't even hesitate and said "Kill them all." the marines shuddered and did as they were told.

Bonney closed her eyes and shed a few tears as she was hauled away.

A few days later

Bonney was chained up in a cell on New Marineford. She looked at the people coming and going before seeing a woman with a mask on her waist. Bonney suddenly shouted "Hey you! With the mask!" Milly stopped and turned her head and looked at Bonney before pointing to herself, after Zeus left, she completely cleaned up her act. She wore very proper clothes and stopped acting like she had before, it could be seen that what happened to Zeus hit her extremely hard.

Bonney nodded and said "Yeah, you. Come here." Milly walked over with a frown and said "What do you want?" Bonney pointed her chin at Zeus' mask and said "Where did you get that?" Milly touched the mask softly and said "What does it matter to you?"

Bonney frowned and said "It's Zeus' right? Where is he?" Milly was startled and said "Why?" Bonney finally couldn't handle it and said snappily "What are you his wife? Just tell me where he is! For fuck sakes!" Milly choked on her saliva and said "Why should I tell you? Who are you to him?"

Bonney opened her mouth slightly and said annoyingly "Are you really his wife? What a bastard!" Milly felt her mouth twitch and she said "Unfortunately, I don't have that much good luck. We're friends." although her expression was a bit weird when she said that. Bonney tilted her head and said "Friends?" Milly nodded and said "I'm engaged also.. though apparently that doesn't mean anything."

Bonney was confused and Milly finally said "Were friends with benefits, sex friends, fu-" Bonney cut her off "Okay! Okay! I get it! Relax!" she had a red face and muttered "I'm gonna fix that fucker up when I find him..." Milly covered her mouth and giggled, Bonney coughed away her embarrassment and said seriously "Where is he?" Milly hesitated and said "From what I heard, he was sentenced to the 6th level of Impel Down. The news said he died, I'm assuming you somehow know this isn't true or you wouldn't be asking me."

Bonney rolled her eyes and said "Can't you just give a straight answer? Are you always so long winded?" Milly felt her mouth twitch again and she smiled slyly and said "Not when I'm in bed~" Bonney had black lines on her forehead, tired of dealing with this woman. Milly giggled and said "Seriously though, I saw him leaving with a world noble in chains. I guess if you want to find him you have to go to Mariejoie."

Bonney's eyes widened and she said incredulously "He became a slave!?" Milly make a sad expression and nodded softly. Bonney was silent and Milly gasped and only now realized "Wait a minute! What's your relationship with him?"

Bonney blushed slightly and said "We went on one date and just kissed." Milly was stunned and said "You didn't.." Bonney shook her head and looked at Milly before getting startled, Milly was looking at her in awe but also.. envy? Bonney was confused and Milly said "I've never seen that before. Usually it always ends in sex, well from what I've seen and heard anyway." she looked at Bonney again and said enviously "You must be pretty special."

Bonney said "Always?" Milly nodded and said "I've seen 5 marine girls and they all ended the same way but it was only once..." Bonney listened to Milly talk and felt strangely bitter and angry, this damn guy goes around and fucks anything that moves or what? Milly was about to keep speaking when a loud shout startled her "What are you doing here Milly!?"

Milly shook her head and said "Nothing!" before running away, Bonney watched her go regretfully, she wanted to hear more stories. She had nothing else to do here anyway, she looked out of the cage and heard footsteps coming closer and closer.

Soon a huge man stepped in front of the cage and Bonney looked at him before scoffing and turning away. The man was confused and said "What's your problem brat?" Bonney sneered and said "I don't have a problem. I'm sure you do though, after all, your grandson became a slave and you did nothing about it."

The man was Garp and he was checking on the prisoners by chance today, he had nothing else to do and he felt that he would kill Akainu if he saw him again. Garp grimaced and said "Who are you?" Bonney spat on the floor and sneered "Why should I tell you? Are you going to offer me to the nobles too?"

Garp grit his teeth and felt a vein pop on his forehead, he ripped the bars straight off of the cage and grabbed Bonney by her neck before saying "Want to say that again?" Bonney couldn't breath well but still said between breaths "Zeus... Got... A.. Shitty.. Hand.. Dealt.. To.. Him... When.. You,, Became.. His.. Grandfather!" Garp's face was extremely ugly and Bonney's consciousness was starting to fade, he clicked his tongue and threw her to the ground.

Bonney hit the ground and coughed, a vivre card fell out of her cleavage as she gasped for air. Garp saw it and said "What's this?" Bonney panicked and moved her body to cover it, but Garp pushed her away and picked it up saying "A vivre card?" he looked at Bonney and said "Who's is this?"

Bonney grit her teeth and said quietly "Give it back." Garp sneered and walked away with the vivre card, Bonney screamed "It's your grandson's! It's the only thing he left me! Give it back!" she struggled in her chains before biting on Garp's pant leg.

Garp looked down at Bonney, who was biting his pants and glaring at him with tears in her eyes. He looked at the vivre card and crouched down before saying "What's your relationship with my grandson?" Bonney was silent and Garp frowned, knowing Zeus, he assumed that Bonney was just another girl at the beginning, but if she had his vivre card then it was a completely different issue.

If Garp knew his grandson, then he knew that this girl was important and by the looks of it, it wasn't a subordinate relationship either. Not like those CP9 agents he was hiding, yes Garp knew, he knew the whole time but never said anything about it. He didn't know what they were for but he knew that Zeus had lied to Sengoku about their whereabouts, his own investigation cemented this fact.

One night he had heard Zeus talking to Lucci over the snail, Zeus might be smart and had set up a lightning barrier to block the sound but it was a simple matter for Garp to listen in on his room. It was his house after all.

Garp knows that Zeus never does something without meaning, there's always a reason for his actions, but he couldn't figure out where this girl fit in. He looked down at Bonney and said incredulously "That brat had a grand-daughter-in-law outside?!"

Bonney blushed and said nothing, truthfully, she didn't know why she was feeling this way. He surprise kissed her before disappearing and he saved her from a group of marines. He slept around, didn't take anything seriously, flirted with every woman he saw, and was just a bastard in general. But she remember how much fun it was fooling around on the date with him and how he showed off in front of her when he brazenly changed clothes in the middle of a restaurant.

She remembered feeling her heart getting pierced when she saw his crushed face when Ace was killed and the pure rage when he transformed and attacked an Admiral, completely disregarding his own safety and his position in the marines.

Also, when she was about to be violated by Blackbeard, strangely she thought of Zeus, wondering if he would be upset. All these thoughts flew through Bonney's mind in less than a second, while she was still biting on Garp's pant, she thought to herself 'Maybe I do like him?' her heartbeat increased at the thought.

Garp didn't know the huge revelation that was going on in Bonney's mind right now, he only wanted to know why she had his vivre card. He said "Tell me or I'll leave with it." Bonney woke up from her revelation and said softly "I guess you could say we're dating?"

Garp was stunned before laughing loudly and propping Bonney up, he felt the best he had felt in days right now, he smiled awkwardly and said "Sorry for choking you granddaughter-in-law." Bonney sniffed and said "I still don't like you." Garp gave her a wry smile and said "You're not the only one."

Bonney nodded and said "Of course not! Who let's their grandson become a slave?!" she glared angrily at Garp, who sighed and said "Believe it or not, he went willingly." Bonney was stunned and said "What?!" Garp sighed again and told her what happened that day, Bonney looked lost and Grap patted her head as he said "I would have killed that noble and charged up to Mariejoie myself, if he didn't."

Bonney said "Why don't you go now?" Garp spread his hands and said "If I went, what was the point of him giving himself up for me? I probably wouldn't be able to do anything and become a criminal myself, which was what he didn't want to happen."

Bonney was silent before her eyes brightened and she said "I'll go." Garp was stunned and said "What?" Bonney nodded and said "I'll go. I'll go get him. You just need to let me out of these chains and I'll take care of the rest." Garp was silent and thought about it for a moment before saying "It's too dangerous, you're just a little girl, what could you possibly do that I can't?"

Bonney said angrily "Listen to me you old fart! Let me out of these chains and let me go save him! You don't need to worry about what I'm going to do! I'm not a helpless flower!" Garp was hesitant, not because he could get into trouble, but because he didn't want her to die. He could just make up a story and say that when he got here she was gone.

Bonney said angrily "I can change my age! Nobody will even know! Come on, you don't want to save your grandson?!" Garp took a deep breath and firmness flashed in his eyes as he said "Okay. You only get one shot. If you don't succeed I will come get you myself, understand?" Bonney nodded frantically and Garp unlocked the chains with a key, before setting Bonney free.

Bonney left after thanking Garp and Garp put the bars back and left the door open, he dropped the keys on the ground and looked at the cell. After confirming everything was good he waited for a while before screaming "Which one of you bastards was watching the prisoners?!"

Bonney was already on a transport ship to Mariejoie as she heard Garp's scream. It was too late, the ship already left the port and traveled to Mariejoie, after all, the people on the boat were just regular transport people, what happened at Marineford was none of their business. Even if they did care, they were already away from Marineford when Garp screamed, the prisoner couldn't possibly be on the ship, right?

Obviously these transport people were fitting right in at Mariejoie. Absolutely zero brains at all. Bonney sneered at them as she hid between barrels, looking at Mariejoie in the distance.
