I stopped after capturing exactly 200 Tentacool, and interestingly enough, there were much fewer Tentacool with reddish potential than I expected. I had not bothered excluding those with bad potential since I wanted to have the full potential range of Tentacool available for the Pinkan project, and yet, only roughly 60 of the Tentacool had reddish potential. In fact, more than half of those were definitely going to have their potential raised to light orange or maybe even orange by Utopia, with a few more having a chance at light orange potential. Only about 20, likely less, would probably remain at the reddish potential range with deep red potential.

Still, maybe we would get lucky like we did this time, which would save us years, and while we "only" saved a year or so this time around, I was thankful for any saved time we got, and I was sure that Tatsumkai felt the same way as well. I went ahead and told her the good news right away. Just as I had expected she was delighted to hear the news, and she actually laughed out loud out of happiness at not having to endure another bug-res session.

While ice moves usually only did regular damage to Skarmory due to its steel type, that did it matter when Skarmory simply stood there and took it without defending itself regardless of its trainer's shouts and pleas to snap out of it. The referee waited for 10 seconds before declaring Skarmory unable to battle, making me the victor of the first challenge, ending the battle that finished much faster than everyone had expected, myself included.

Naturally, the direct exchange was still an option in case I failed to find either a Bagon or a Beldum on my own since I still had the necessary points for that, but I first wanted to try my chance. Either way, I would have to apply for the authorization to enter into the protected/restricted areas of the Meteor Falls, and the Chimney Mountain Range since the Bagon as well as Beldum lines lived in those areas and did usually not wander outside of them.

Lime City's Mall was massive. It was the same size or even bigger than a stadium used for the Olympics in his past life. It also had 4 floors, which made it impossible to look around all the parts in just a day.
