"absorbing souls" doesn't really tell us much, it could mean anything from just knowing their memories to having their magical powers and skills be added to you.

Technically yeah, but it doesn't change the fact that one punch from a full-powered Zaraki is gonna discombobulate Izanami's face, so even if she is "above them in rank" the fact that they can still beat her down makes her "goddess act" feel hypocritical to me

that will literally destroy the story on multiple fronts, and am not saying in a " criticizing way" what i mean is that the entire plot of shadow slave will collapse considering that sunny getting weaver's blood is a ginormous part of the plot and without it sunny would probably die soon.
The Weaver, the one who controls fate. And is rumored to have created the spell by his own hands.

i mean by the second part of this arc she becomes the most composed out of the three main characters thanks to her visions and the fact she basically saw years worth of memories of the future thanks to her aspect ability, so her mentality should be the least of your problems as long as you don't screw it up yourself.
Sure, I will protect her but who wants a friend that depends on you for anything and everything? I know I'm not gonna be with her every step of the way, that's why she has to learn how to think for herself. If I remember, Cassie was just a normal girl from a normal family. So she hasn't seen how dark the world can be.

"give her courage" lol, this is just hilarious to me, the mc's "encouragement" is literally the main reason why she is so broken, not even in canon she was this weak-spirited, though this may be a bit unfair of me to say considering we didn't really know how she acted before she met nephis so i may be overreaching here.
Good, it seemed like it worked. of course I planned this. To give her motivation and courage, so that she doesn't depend on me all the time.

she didn't actually act like this in Cannon i believe, i think the mc's harsh words in the last days of the academy did more harm than good to her psyche
