That depends on what activities one is using it for. Technology is a tool for us to access that which is otherwise unavailable to us... like good books(wink wink nudge nudge). as long as one isn't over doing it with simple brain rot activities like video games and videos, it shouldn't be an issue(ironic coming from a Twitch Streamer, but as long as it doesn't influence my paid job, I consider it acceptable).
Prime had bought that phone for Sara just a few days ago, after noticing how much effort she put into her schoolwork when she participated with Ned, Peter, and Gwen. Since then, Sara used it whenever she had time. Even though Sara claimed otherwise, Prime was sure it wasn't normal for someone to spend almost two hours straight with their phone in hand without considering themselves addicted.

though it does depend on their power set, I am inclined to agree for those with abilities that don't enhance they physical body(consciously or otherwise).

at least the first being they encounter is a magic user of the Occult variety. they might be able to work put a deal... after all, occult magic is all about giving something in return for something else(like in rituals and such). any halfway decent practitioner would be willing to make a deal with other beings/entities than make a potential enemy by fighting... especially when another magic user is involved as we are known to be rather spiteful and can hold grudges for longer than most due to magic being able to extend our natural lifespan.
Baba Yaga looked like a stereotypical witch: green skin, a long pointed nose with a large mole on it, and a singular silver tooth hanging from her mouth. She wore a purple witch hat and purple robes, completing the image.

If you continue to impress me by the 50th chapter, I might even leave a review. ;P. If not, I'll do a check up every 50 chapters(100, 150, 200, etc) until I find it up to my, admittedly high standards... Anything under 4.5 stars is something I don't find worth my time as I tend to compare all literature to one another; though I could go as low as 3 stars if I see enough potential. Essentially you'd be competing with the likes of The Inheritance Cycle(Eragon) series, The Bartemaeus Trilogy, The Riordan Verse books, and the like.
