Why not? All Might didn't see Midoriya's potential as he wasn't there at the slug villain attack, used logic and gave it to Tobias. Mc didn't take All Might's power, All Might gave it to him. (Mc doesn't even know what MHA is.) The power I am planning for Midoriya is kind of better than his canon one and I planned this from the beginning.
