I think the fake part is about the fact that it isn't the present. sure, it was reality once, but right now it holds no true value, at least not great enough to ignore the present, throw away the future and to chase after a long gone past

I suppose it only includes natural resources, which also means life in a way. Manufactured buildings snapping like tree branches is to be expected. but it makes you wonder about the cave like homes that are still pretty much natural...
The only thing they had to comfort themselves was that though Earth had evolved, their buildings were still in the Third Dimension. They wouldn't have been part of the strengthened.

It was always one thing or the other. You would expect these words to be used against a criminal who's probably in his/her 40's, but no. These were the words used to describe a young boy who was barely 10. Did he deserve it? What kind of deeds would a kid of that age have to do to be called such words?

I've noticed multiple times now, but you could try "their/them" instead of "his/him/her/her" since it's neutral, shorter and in my opinion flows better.
It was always one thing or the other. You would expect these words to be used against a criminal who's probably in his/her 40's, but no. These were the words used to describe a young boy who was barely 10. Did he deserve it? What kind of deeds would a kid of that age have to do to be called such words?
